Carla Bailey is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader that is accomplished, dedicated, energetic, and respected business owner and community leader with 20+ years of experience developing people, processes, and projects that support diversity, inclusion, and economic opportunities for small businesses and communities. Hands-on leader and influencer with excellent communication, organization, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Prior to being a successful entrepreneur, she served as a Police Officer in Hampton, VA. Her leadership abilities quickly emerged in her role as a police officer and was called to train officers and support the department in its hiring processes by selecting officers that would be best suited to serve the citizens of Hampton Virginia.

Ms. Bailey participated in the family Real Estate business as an adolescent when her mother owned and managed their 28 units in the 1980’s. Her mother’s Real Estate portfolio consisted of single-family homes, duplexes, and 6 to 8 unit apartment buildings. She often worked in the business managing contractors who performed repairs and renovations for these properties owned by her mother. Land development was natural progression. Her gift and ability to identify desirable land, negotiate land acquisition deals, and manage construction building and costs are second nature. Moreover, she has a keen eye for world-class craftsmanship and her standards are stringent, yet necessary for a quality product. She enjoys developing floor plans and creating functional spaces for families and for those who are balancing both home and work life.
